About

The goal of publicconnections is to shed light on issues related to accessibility and the digital divide, while contributing to the rhetoric on issues of relevance and social consciousness in a democratic society.

publicconnections is facilitated by Becky Ramsey, a masters student in Public History at Loyola University Chicago, and Library and Information Science at Dominican University in River Forest, IL. Becky grew up in Evanston, graduating from Evanston Township High School and then attended Denison University in Granville, OH where she graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in History and a Bachelor of Arts in Religion.

Becky loves to knit, a constructive way to stay connected to generations of women past,  and is the proud dog mom to Mac, a four year old Lab/Greyhound mix.
